WSP Graduate Swap

The new year saw one of Lloret’s newest graduates, Grace, partake within an exchange program with WSP.

We have a strong and longstanding partnership with the design consultant company, working on current and past projects together. The exchange has been a great opportunity to collaboratively support the next generation in enhancing their industry knowledge. 

Throughout the exchange Grace, our Sustainability Coordinator, has been able to learn how WSP aim to be at the forefront of the transition to low carbon future, she has been able to learn new ideas that we can bring forth to Lloret as we embark on our net zero journey. 

Maria, a Graduate Smart Engineer at WSP, spent her time at Lloret with our design team as well on site seeing a project Lloret and WSP are working on together. Maria saw first-hand how her ideas are adapted into our design for projects, once we receive it from WSP consultants. The rest of the week saw her spend her time on one of our large commercial developments in London, looking at FAT testing panels. 

Grace on her visit to WSP was able to get involved in learning from their sustainability consultants maximise a circular economy throughout the RIBA stages of building.  

It has been a great experience and one we look forward to introducing to other graduates and apprentices joining Lloret.
