Purley Food Hub

Purley Food Hub provides three-day emergency food parcels to local families in crisis, and during December 2023 alone they delivered food for 5,850 meals to 650 clients and family members. 

We have recently formed a partnership with Purley Food Hub. They are a local charity to our head office in Coulsdon providing important food packages to families in crisis – covering Croydon, Purley and Coulsdon. 

To support the incredible work the charity does, Lloret has volunteered and donated to Purley Food Hub throughout December, which is something we are carrying on in the new year. We now have a permanent food basket based in our head office as we look to donate throughout the year, being kept up to date via their monthly newsletter of the products the food bank needs. 

Lloret’s volunteer days, started with both our Managing Directors, Darren Lovelock and Max Sjoblom, alongside Grace Duncumb and Louise Higgs helping to pick up a collection. The Lloret van was put to good use, collecting the very large and successful donation Riddlesdown Collegiate had been able to generate, in time for Christmas. The month additionally saw several of our Lloret employees delivering food parcels to families around Coulsdon, ahead of Christmas Day. 

We are proud to support Purley Food Hub and we look forward to building our relationship throughout the upcoming year and supporting our local community.
