TVC Phase 2 Apprenticeship Exchange Pilot
Lloret has participated and helped organise the first week of the TVC Apprenticeship Exchange Pilot, the first multi-disciplined MEP exchange programme, covering the pre-construction phase. It’s been a truly collaborative process and has received great feedback from the candidates so far.
Multiplex and the MEP trade contractors have come together to support the learning of the next generation of Apprentices coming through, focusing on understanding the interfaces with each trade package – Lloret Controls, ESG, Lloret Fire and Argus Fire. The Exchange will further see the apprentices learn what each trade does in the construction and commissioning phases too, being centred around the chilled water system. The same system they learnt about in the pre-construction week.
The photo below shows the first day of the exchange hosted at TVC Phase 2 by Multiplex. The developer Stanhope and architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, were also invited to talk to the Apprentices about their roles on the project and provide insight into the TVC Master Plan that the project contributes to.
A huge thank you to Multiplex and Stanhope for supporting the idea and our friends at ESG, Argus Fire and Lloret Fire for helping to design and deliver the programme. We look forward to working with you all again to deliver the Construction Stage later in the year.
