Working at Lloret
Our workforce includes seven apprentices and several graduate trainees, with over 15% of our workforce are female. We have a low staff turnover with many long–serving team members, including our longest serving employee having been working at Lloret for 30 years!
With over 50 years of experience as a successful Building Management System (BMS) specialist, we consider ourselves to be a leading employer within this sector. Our continued growth is underpinned by strong values and a long-term commitment to our people, partners, and projects.
We have built up a strong relationship with the Construction Youth Trust and work with our Social Value Partners throughout the year to ensure we continue to expand in line with our company ESG objectives. We also actively work alongside local colleges to run a structured work experience programme, where students rotate across the company from software development to on-site commissioning, as we support the next generation of engineers coming into the industry.
We have achieved BSI-accredited ISO certifications for 9001, 14001, 45001 and are in the process of achieving 27001.

Commissioning Engineer
The ideal candidate would be a highly skilled, professional and driven individual with extensive knowledge of the BMS sector and able to commission the building management systems and associated mechanical / electrical plant in accordance with the approved contract documentation, specifications and drawings.
BMS Design Department Lead
We are looking to employ a design department lead to head up the Lloret design department. This role is pivotal to our success as the department lead will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the designs produced by the Design Managers adhere to Lloret’s high standards.

The beginning of 2026, sees our Engineering Director Oli Barker, join the BCIA Management Committee for the start of a 3-year term.
We partnered with Purley Food Hub back in December 2023, being a local food bank to our head office in Coulsdon. Employees at Lloret, throughout the years, have been supporting the food hub in various ways.
During July, Lloret were at 40 Leadenhall shooting a video with Distech Controls, discussing all things BMS and how it operates throughout the 900,000 sqft building.
To ensure a smooth transition of the CNS, our Network Architect Jonathan, delivered a technical training session, providing the client with the knowledge and resources needed for effective management and future scalability of the network after project completion.
In November we had the pleasure of hosting two students for work experience, David and Josh. They are both in their final year of their T-level Engineering course and are a part of Construction Youth Trust, who worked alongside to organise their placement.
This September, we were excited to welcome Joyce and Zinat to the Lloret team! Both are studying at South Bank University, working towards their Level 6 Building Services Design Engineer qualification.
Lloret’s TVC Phase 2 team partnered with Multiplex to support St Mungo’s, one of Stanhope’s Foundation partners. St Mungo’s are dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness, working nationwide with over 100 sleeping units and outreach teams working to make an impact.
Throughout July, we have hosted 5 students for work experience. At Lloret we have a structured work experience programme, where our employees show what we do day in day out, from going on site to spending time in our head office and workshop.
Lloret in March won the ‘Outstanding Achievement 2024 Partner Growth’ award from Allied Telesis. Our Engineering Director, Oliver, collected the award at their annual global conference that took place in Malaga. 2024 saw us successfully collaborating together to deliver the Converged Network Systems (CNS) on Victoria House, Stonecutter Court and Carlton House Terrace.
We are delighted to share that Lloret’s Founder, Ray Smith, won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) Awards 2025.
